International Featured Standards (IFS)
International Food Safety Standard that audits the processes and services of the supply chain to meet the demand for quality and transparency of customers and consumers.
SAE - Level 2
The Specific Self-control System for Exports (SAE) - Level 2 is an official program that allows companies in the food sector to ensure compliance with the sanitary requirements of certain third countries for export. Having the SAE Level 2 accredits that the company has a reinforced control system, based on documented procedures, traceability, verification and supervision by the competent authority. For a food company, it is an additional guarantee of safety and sanitary control, facilitates access to international markets and reinforces the confidence of customers and authorities by demonstrating a rigorous commitment to regulations and quality in production processes.
SMETA
Certification SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) accredits that our company complies with international standards in terms of social responsibility, ethics and sustainability in the supply chain. For a food company in Spain, having SMETA means that our processes have been independently audited in key areas such as working conditions, health and safety, environment and business ethics. This certification reinforces our commitment to responsible production, respect for workers' rights and transparency with customers and business partners, ensuring that our products not only meet the highest standards of quality and food safety, but also ethical and sustainable principles.
Sustainability and environment
In NUCHAR our reason for being is the sea, and therefore we are aware of the need to care not only for the oceans but also for the environment that surrounds us.
PURCHASE OF SUSTAINABLE RAW MATERIALS
We are members of the Global Octopus SR, which works for the global sustainability of octopus fisheries. We are directly involved in the certification of two of the world's leading fisheries: Mauritania and Morocco.
CERTIFICATES
We also hold MSC - Marine Stewardship Council and ASC - Aquaculture Stewardship Council chain-of-custody certifications, independent, non-profit international organizations that promote sustainable fishing practices.
PACKAGING OPTIMIZATION AND SUSTAINABILITY
We only use 100% recyclable plastics.

We use FSC-certified paperboard, a global non-profit organization dedicated to promoting responsible forest management worldwide.
